Team Report
MAN CITY Coach: Mark Hughes (since 05/06/2008) Last Result: 3-3 tie at home to Burnley, November 07 Record: 5-1-5 Streak: Tied 5 Next Match: away to Liverpool, November 21 Mark Hughes has rejected the notion that Manchester City's season will be regarded as a failure if they finish outside the top four. The Blues are currently sixth after a run of five draws, but Hughes is not unduly concerned at this point. "With the resources we have, people are saying the top four is the minimum requirement. That is actually not the case," said Hughes. "The clubs you have to overcome to get there are not just the best teams in the Premier League, they are also some of the best teams in the world."
