Team Report
AC MILAN Coach: Nascimento de Araujo Leonardo (since 05/06/2009) Last Result: 2-0 loss at home to Palermo, December 13 Record: 9-3-4 Streak: Lost 1 Next Match: away to Fiorentina, December 19 AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has urged his teammates to finish the year on a positive note when they travel to Florence to face Fiorentina on Sunday. The Rossoneri saw their unbeaten streak in Serie A come to an end after almost three months in last weekend's 2-0 defeat to Palermo. The outcome left the Rossoneri second in the standings, five points behind city rivals Inter Milan after 16 games played. "We could have done better against Palermo, no doubt about it," said Ambrosini. "But it's fair to say that Palermo put in a great performance and deserved the victory. But we can and must do better. This defeat can even be useful. We must do more, because only through hard work and sacrifice will we win the Scudetto."
