Angus And what a wild ride it is! I think back when I first started four weeks ago and how far back I was. Slow and steady will eventually pay off. The first two weeks for me were pretty bad (roughly .530). Eventually those will be wiped off the 30-day tally and I'll be more competitive. At least now I give off the appearance of "I know what I'm doing" :) I remember when I was in 25th two weeks ago and only 140 games back. 25th nowadays is nearing 250 games back. Alamowx, Senorpepr, and myself very well could be the Big Three from here on out. I'm sure we'll recruit more guys to challenge us at the top. alamowx It's the same thing. Sometimes the schedule changes at some point during the day, and that's the one that gets scored while the original one just stays. I made my picks on mids here in the States, so I got caught up in the same thing. I noticed it before a couple of the rescheduled games started and was able to make new picks, but missed quite a few. Angus No, I meant how there were something like 160 games that I picked from DIV II and III the previous day and then logged on and none of those games were scored. They did, however, reappear towards the bottom with final scores, but iti didn't have any dots next to a team name, but towards the top there were the same unscored games. alamowx Do you mean that some games don't show up until later in the day? The games listed here are automated based on a feed that Mark receives. So the schedule is sometimes updated and new games will show up. Nov 10 10:05 AM |

Angus yeah, i cut in halfway through saturday, so i didn't get the full effect. Maybe you can make up some ground and take #1! :) Anyway, I know upsets happen, but if you typically go for the non-upset, you should remain above .500 for sure, probably more along the lines of .700 or so. Angus Yeah, well, it'll be a bad stretch I'm sure. Good news is there will be more opportunities come November as NCAAB kicks off. 306 Division I teams with most schools playing twice, sometimes three times per week. A really good way to get your numbers up, if the upsets are fairly low in comparison. Oh, I'm looking forward to NCOPDS. I've been in a 'rut' for a little while, so I feel this 3-day seminar will be a good thing, especially since it's been over 3 years since I went to ALS. It should prepare me for challenges an E-6 will face, plus I'm hoping it will be a class that's heavy in writing and how to do counselings/feedbacks properly. We'll see. Oct 21 5:57 PM |

alamowx The leaderboard is based on the last 30 days of picks, so if you have a really sucky stretch, it'll clear off after 30 days. I heard about them doing more of those NCO seminars when I was at the NCO Academy in February. With so much time between ALS and NCOA sometimes, it helps to remember the leadership skills and AF knowledge outside your career field. I don't know, could be helpful. Oct 21 5:45 PM |

Angus Too bad it doesn't work for us overseas as well, that and the time difference, plus shift work on top of that, I know I won't get every pick in, but I can get some of them in at least.
