Clarkson's new AFL right-hand man named
Oct 11, 2016 - 6:32 AM Long-time Hawthorn official Jason Burt is coach Alastair Clarkson's new right-hand man.The Hawks announced Burt will take over as football manager, following Chris Fagan's appointment as Brisbane coach.
Burt joined Hawthorn in 2006 as their player development manager and was promoted two years ago to run player services and football administration at the club.
Hawks chief executive Stuart Fox said on the club website that it was a logical choice, given Burt's experience and knowledge.
