Ziebell to captain North in AFL
Dec 8, 2016 - 11:37 AM North Melbourne have confirmed that Jack Ziebell will be their new AFL captain.Robbie Tarrant, who won his first club best and fairest award this season, will be Ziebell's deputy.
Ziebell will take over from Andrew Swallow, who had been their skipper for the last five seasons.
Swallow stepped down at the end of this season.
Ziebell, 25, joined North's leadership group four years ago and was long considered the successor to Swallow.
Ziebell and Tarrant will front the media on Friday afternoon.
