Burris leads Stampeders past Lions
Oct 16, 2006 - 12:51 AM CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Henry Burris threw two touchdowns and ran for another as the Calgary Stampeders recorded a 32-25 win against the BC Lions.Burris completed 21-of-37 passes for 307 yards. He hooked up with Ken-Yon Rambo for a 46-yard touchdown in the second quarter and Elijah Thurmon for an 11-yard TD strike in the fourth.
Joffrey Reynolds carried 18 times for 92 yards and a touchdown for Calgary (10-7), which already has clinched a playoff berth.
Buck Pierce was 11-of-16 for 133 yards and Jarious Jackson went 7-of-18 for 130 yards and a touchdown for BC (11-5), which also has locked up a postseason spot.
Geroy Simon caught five passes for 62 yards and Kendrick Jones had a 42-yard TD reception for the Lions.
