Aug 8, 2014 - 3:53 AM Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - Terrell Maze's interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter gave the Saskatchewan Roughriders a 23-17 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday.

David Lee returned a fumble for a touchdown, while Chris Milo hit three field goals for the Roughriders (4-2), who have won three straight games. Darian Durant went 13-of-21 for 115 yards, and Jerome Messam totaled 126 yards on 19 carries.

Drew Willy had three interceptions while going 23-of-39 for 303 yards and a touchdown and adding a touchdown on the ground for the Blue Bombers (5-2), who had won their previous two coming in.

Following a Winnipeg single, Saskatchewan made it a 16-11 game on a 40-yard field goal from Milo with 7:19 to play, but Winnipeg came right back to take the lead on a 12-yard touchdown catch by Rory Kohlert from Willy with 5:25 to play in the game.

The Roughriders then turned the ball over on downs, but Maze stepped in front of a Willy pass and ran it untouched down the right sideline for a 28-yard score and a 22-17 lead with 2:16 to play.

Willy was again picked off on the Roughriders' ensuing possession and while a 45-yard field goal was missed by Milo, there was only 30 seconds left and Willy was unable to drive his team down the field for a winning score.

The Roughriders got on the board first with a 42-yard field goal from Milo, but the Blue Bombers countered with a 41-yard kick by Lirim Hajrullahu later in the first quarter.

The only points of the second quarter saw Willy run the ball in from seven yards out to give the Blue Bombers a 10-3 lead going into halftime.

Saskatchewan's defense tied the game in the third quarter as a sack led to a fumble recovery and 12-yard score by Lee to tie the game.

A fumble on the ensuing kickoff return by Winnipeg was picked up by Saskatchewan, and that led to a 10-yard field goal by Milo on the first play of the fourth quarter to give the team a 13-10 lead.
