Hatalsky, Vaughan have a share of the lead at First Tee Open

Sep 1, 2007 - 3:31 PM PEBBLE BEACH, California (Ticker) - Morris Hatalsky and Bruce Vaughan enter Saturday's second round of the First Tee Open atop the leaderboard.

Hatalsky and Vaughan each carded rounds of 7-under-par 65 to grab a share of a one-shot lead.

Bob Gilder, who is looking for his first win of the season, is alone in third following a 66.

Tom Watson and Kirk Hanefeld are another shot back after 67s and former First Tee Open winner Craig Stadler and five others carded 68s.

Bernhard Langer, a two-time Masters champion who is making his Champions Tour debut after turning 50 on Monday, shot a 69.

Defending champion Scott Simpson carded a 72.

First prize is $300,000.
