Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks
With Robert Willams missing Games 4-6 with a knee injury, it’s been Al Horford taking the opening tip against Brooks Lopez. Williams is questionable to play in Game 7, and I would believe with the knee issue, they will keep him out of the tip-off. Lopez has four tip-off wins in the series and although Horford got the best of him in the last game, Lopez is the better bet to win the tipoff.
The Celtics scored first in 64% of their games during the regular season, which led the league, while the Bucks scored 52%. Boston also has scored the first basketball in six of the ten head-to-head matchups with Milwaukee this year.
Jaylon Brown, who’s been one of the best first basket shooters in the league came through for a second time in this series as he scored on the Celtics’ first possession.
I still believe with Milwaukee winning the tip-off they get that first score in the pivotal Game 7
The Celtics have allowed the most first baskets to the power forward, which is where Giannis has been playing throughout the series. He’ll get the Bucks on the board to start the game.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns
The initial advantage will come to Phoenix at the tip-off as it will be Deandre Ayton vs. Dwight Powell. Ayton has been dominant during these playoffs in tip-off wins with five, but Powell finally gets one in Game 6. It’s hard to go against Ayton, who has been one of the best at the tip-off in the playoffs.
The Suns have hit the first basket in five of the six games this in the series and it will happen again in a big home game. Dallas has allowed the most first baskets to the shooting guard this season. That would be Devin Booker who’s shooting over 50% in this series and already has a first basket in this series. Look for the second one tonight.
