On paper, the best and worst teams in the ACC will face off against one another in Durham Saturday as the #13 Demon Deacons make the short trip to take on the Blue Devils. However, with just 34 points scored in three conference games, the Blue Devils face an uphill battle against their familiar foe.

In what will be a homecoming game for the Demon Deacons, one of the last unbeaten in the country looks to keep focused as they just put up a program-record setting performance a week ago. Somehow in just 17 minutes of possession, the Deacons put up 70 points, 638 yards, and turned the ball over zero times in their 70-56 victory on the road at Army.
Quarterback Sam Hartman added five touchdowns to bring him to 19 on the season to go along with 2,073 passing yards.
For the Blue Devils, three straight losses before a bye last week have all but derailed their season, as the going should get more demanding for a unit that has a ton of issues. In October alone, Duke has been outscored by a +83 margin and has gotten little help outside of their rushing attack.
At the QB position, Gunnar Holmberg has struggled for the Blue Devils as he enters this week with a touchdown to interception ratio of just 6:6.

If these offenses do anything well the same, it’s giving up a ton of yards. Ranking 110 and 107 in the country, respectively, the Blue Devils and Demon Deacon’s defenses have a hard time stopping much of anyone, and I expect a similar story in this one.
While the total has already risen, I expect it to go even higher and am grabbing the 70 while I can.
