Allen had 12 carries for 68 yards and two scored. Tyler Van Dyke played just one half of football and threw for 247 yards and a touchdown, plus he had another rushing touchdown. Xavier Restrepo also only played in the first half, but he nearly matched his Texas A&M performance in that half. Restrepo caught six passes for 120 yards.

BCU 7, MFL 48Miami freshman running back Chris Johnson Jr. scored his first touchdown of his college career late in the game against Bethune-Cookman. Johnson was able to break two tackles as he bounced to the outside, and then he showed off his speed as he went 21 yards to the end zone.
BCU 7, MFL 48Trying to stop him from picking up a first down, Bethune-Cookman defenders pick up running back Donald Chaney Jr. off the ground, but Chaney's teammates came up behind him and began pushing him forward. Miami ends up picking up an extra nine yards thanks to the Hurricanes teaming up to move the pile forward.
