Padres finally solve Phillies at PETCO Park

Luebke (2-1) allowed just two hits and walked two while striking out five for the Padres, who snapped a four-game skid.
Yonder Alonso drove in a run and scored, while Orlando Hudson smacked an RBI triple when San Diego blew the game open in the eighth.
"A good win like this off somebody like Doc (Halladay) maybe turns things around for us," Luebke said.
Halladay (3-1) labored through seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits and four walks for the Phillies, who have scored two runs or less in nine of 15 games this season.
"He pitched good enough to win the game, he can't throw shutouts every time," Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel said of Halladay's outing.
Halladay was unusually wild in the home second. After he struck out Nick Hundley, he walked the bases loaded, but then got some help from Freddy Galvis at second base to save a run.
Hudson slapped one through the hole on the right side, but Galvis ranged far to his left and threw him out from his backside, limiting the Padres to just a run on the play.
San Diego plated a two-out run in its half of the third. Chase Headley and Hundley reached with a pair of singles and Alonso sliced an opposite field double into the left-field corner for a 2-0 Padres advantage.
The Padres added three two-out insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth. Cameron Maybin walked and Jason Bartlett slapped a double down the third-base line to bring him home. Hudson lined a triple into the right-center field gap to plate Bartlett and pinch-hitter Jesus Guzman singled up the middle to score Hudson, giving San Diego a 5-0 lead.
Ty Wiggington had an RBI double in the ninth to conclude the scoring.
