Jason Kipnis went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored for the Indians, who have dropped six of their last eight. Corey Kluber (0-4) was touched for five runs on eight hits in five-plus innings on the mound.

With the score tied in the fifth, the Blue Jays went on top when Bautista punched a bases-loaded single to center that plated two for a 4-2 advantage.

Toronto put the game away with a six-run sixth inning. Danny Valencia reached base when Lonnie Chisenhall's bad throw allowed him to reach base, scoring one run. After Devon Travis walked to load the bases, a fielder's choice from Josh Donaldson scored another run. Bautista's two-run double, along with RBI singles from Encarnacion and Kevin Pillar made it a 10-2 game.

Chisenhall drove home a run in the eighth thanks to a bad play from Travis, and Roberto Perez added a sac fly later in the frame to make it a 10-4 contest.

Michael Saunders' RBI single in the ninth accounted for the final score.

Encarnacion's RBI double in the first gave the Blue Jays an early 1-0 lead.

Carlos Santana's run-scoring groundout in the first tied the game for the Indians, and the team made it 2-1 in the third on Michael Brantley's RBI single.
