Adrian Gonzalez cracked a solo shot for the Dodgers, who had dropped seven of their last nine games coming in. Starter Mike Bolsinger, a Chicago native, allowed two runs on six hits with six strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings.

Bolsinger hit a one-out double in the third, Joc Pederson walked two batters later and Turner launched his three-run blast into the seats in left-center to give LA a 4-0 lead.
