Tallet leaves game against Yankees after 2 innings

Sep 17, 2009 - 12:54 AM NEW YORK(AP) -- Toronto pitcher Brian Tallet cut short his start against the New York Yankees on Wednesday night after taking a comebacker by Robinson Cano off his right foot.

Tallet was hit by Cano leading off the bottom of the second. He finished the inning and was replaced by Shawn Camp starting the third. The Blue Jays said he had a bruised foot.

Tallet threw just 39 pitches and allowed two runs, both in the first inning.
