Six-run fifth inning lifts Blue Jays over Rangers

Apr 26, 2011 - 3:24 AM Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Corey Patterson, Jose Bautista and Juan Rivera each homered in a six-run fifth inning, sparking the Toronto Blue Jays over the Texas Rangers, 6-4, in the opener of a four-game series.

Kyle Drabek (2-0) lasted six innings and allowed three runs on five hits to earn the win, just Toronto's third in nine games.

Colby Lewis (1-3) surrendered six runs -- on those three homers in the fifth -- in his five-inning start for Texas, which was coming off a three-game sweep of Kansas City and had won 10 of its first 12 home games.
