Bedard (3-4) allowed six hits and a walk while fanning four. Adam Kennedy and Brendan Ryan also drove in runs for the Mariners, winners in seven of their last eight.
Brian Duensing (2-5) took the loss after yielding four hits and three runs over seven full frames for the Twins, who have dropped five of six.
The M's provided Bedard with all the offense he needed in the second inning. Gutierrez worked a leadoff walk and Kennedy followed by doubling him in. After advancing on a fly out, Kennedy scored on a base hit from Ryan.
Gutierrez started the fourth with a homer to left -- his first of the season -- for a 3-0 game.
Bedard left a runner on second in the third, and fanned Danny Valencia in the fourth with a man on third.
He worked out of trouble again in the fifth, after allowing back-to-back singles from Drew Butera and Alexi Casilla. A Denard Span groundout advanced both runners, but Matt Tolbert and Jason Kubel both flied out to keep the Twins off the board.
Bedard retired the side in order in the sixth to complete his outing.
David Pauley worked around a Valencia single in the seventh, then posted a 1-2-3 eighth and Brandon League earned his 12th save by setting down Minnesota in order in the ninth.
