Jurrjens (8-2) pitched seven full frames, surrendering just two runs on six hits with no walks for the Braves, who have won five of their last seven games.
"He made pitches when he had to," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said of his starter.
Alex Gonzalez had an RBI double and Jurrjens helped his own cause with an RBI base hit.
Johnny Venters earned his second save of the season after tossing a perfect ninth inning.
Chris Volstad (2-6), who carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, gave up six hits and three runs over 6 2/3 innings for the Marlins, who have lost their last eight games.
"We're playing good baseball. They're one-run games. We're right there, we just have to keep plugging away," Volstad said.
Mike Stanton homered and Emilio Bonifacio went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Florida.
Volstad's no-hit bid was broken up by a Matt Young swinging-bunt that came to rest just inside the first-base line leading off the sixth, and Young later scored the game's first run on Gonzalez's two-out double off the top of the left field wall.
Atlanta's two-run seventh was enough to hold off the Marlins' late rally. Freddie Freeman singled to right field, then advanced to third on a well- placed base hit to right field by Brooks Conrad. With runners on the corners Volstad threw a wild pitch, which allowed Freeman to score and Conrad to move to second. After Young was intentionally walked Conrad scored the eventual game-winning run on Jurrjens' base hit.
Florida answered back in the bottom half of the seventh, adding two runs of its own. Stanton roped a solo homer before John Buck doubled to left-center. Bonifacio knocked in Buck with a base hit.
The Marlins blew an opportunity in the eighth to tie the game. Omar Infante doubled to left before Logan Morrison was hit by a pitch. With runners at first and second, Gaby Sanchez popped out and Gregg Dobbs grounded out after attempting to check swing.
