Reds continue series with Orioles

Arroyo is coming off a solid eight-inning outing against Toronto on Sunday, when he limited the Blue Jays to one run on five hits. He's 2-2 with a 5.57 ERA in nine career games (5 starts) when facing Baltimore.
Brian Matusz gets the starting assignment for the Orioles. One week ago, the left-hander departed a 4-2 loss to Washington in the sixth inning due to cramping in his left hamstring. He allowed six hits and four runs over 5 1/3 frames.
Matusz is 1-1 in his two home starts with a 8.10 ERA this season. He's never faced the Reds and is 0-3 in four career interleague starts.
On Friday, Derrek Lee belted a leadoff home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to lead the Orioles to a thrilling 5-4 victory.
Jose Arredondo (0-3) allowed the decisive blast for the Reds, who have lost five of seven.
Michael Gonzalez (1-1) was credited with the win, as the Orioles snapped a two-game skid.
With two down and Joey Votto on first in the top of the 12th, Gonzalez allowed Jay Bruce to lace a shot to center. The ball rolled under the glove of the diving Adam Jones, but the center fielder recovered to throw a strike to shortstop J.J. Hardy, who turned and cut down Votto at the plate, preserving the tie.
Lee continued the momentum, sending a 1-2 slider into the seats in left to register the game winner.
"I knew I got that one," Lee said of his game-winning shot on Baltimore's official website. "I put a good swing on that one. If that one didn't go over the fence, we would have had some problems."
The all-time series between the Orioles and Reds is even after four games. The only previous regular season meeting between the clubs was June 10-12, 2005 in Cincinnati.
