"The ball came out of his hand good ... good performance," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said of Correia.
Eduardo Escobar smacked a solo homer among his two hits and scored a pair of runs, while Oswaldo Arcia had a pair of hits and scored twice in the triumph.
Charlie Blackmon went 5-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored, while Tyler Matzek (1-4) surrendered four runs on seven hits and a walk over six frames for Colorado, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Brian Dozier led off the game with a double, Escobar reached on a fielder's choice when Matzek elected to try and throw out Dozier at third and Kendrys Morales ripped a double into right-center to plate Dozier and Escobar.
Escobar cracked a first-pitch, leadoff shot into the seats in left to open the third, while Correia's two-out RBI double in the fourth staked Minnesota to its four-run cushion.

D.J. LeMahieu singled to begin the frame, moved to second on Matzek's groundout and scored on Blackmon's base hit to right.
Chris Parmelee's two-run single and Dozier's sacrifice fly in the eighth gave the Twins a 7-1 advantage, while Kurt Suzuki's two-run single in the ninth made it 9-1.
