Boston's Bradley extends hitting streak to 27 games
May 22, 2016 - 7:47 PM BOSTON (AP) Jackie Bradley Jr. of the Boston Red Sox has extended his hitting streak to 27 games.Bradley singled in the fifth inning Sunday against Cleveland at Fenway Park.
Dom DiMaggio set the Red Sox record with a 34-game streak in 1949. DiMaggio's brother, Joe, owns the longest streak in major league history at 56 games.
