MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Williams, Trevor
Jul 27, 2017 - 1:56 AM RHP Trevor Williams pitched well enough to win Wednesday but took a no-decision in a 2-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants. Williams allowed just one run and five hits in six innings and left a 1-1 game. Williams nearly drove in what could have been a difference-making run in the second inning, but Giants RHP Jeff Samardzija made a brilliant play on his chopper and turned it into a forceout at the plate that retained the 1-1 tie.No one has shouted yet.
