Jul 27, 2017 - 7:27 AM 1B Eric Hosmer hit the first grand slam of his career as part of a big offensive night on Wednesday. He had a career-high tying five hits, scored five runs and knocked in six during the Royals' 16-2 win at Detroit. The seven-year first baseman also had five hits against Detroit on Sept. 20, 2011. The RBI and runs scored totals set career marks. Hosmer became the first Royals player to have at least five hits, five runs scored and five RBIs in a game.No one has shouted yet.
