MLB Note - Texas Rangers Beltre, Adrian
Jul 27, 2017 - 7:28 AM 3B Adrian Beltre inched closer Wednesday to 3,000 career hits with a solo home run in the fourth, an RBI double in a three-run sixth and another two-bagger in the seventh. The third baseman is just four hits away from the milestone. He also was ejected in the eighth by second-base umpire Gerry Davis for not standing in the on-deck circle. "He took away an at-bat from me," Beltre said. "I don't think that was necessary. I don't know what the hell happened. I don't understand what his problem was."No one has shouted yet.
