MLB Note - San Diego Padres Solarte, Yangervis
Jul 27, 2017 - 7:28 AM INF Yangervis Solarte, who has been out since June 20 with a left oblique strain, will start a rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso Thursday night. The last step for the switch-hitter was being able to hit from the right side of the plate, something he accomplished without pain during batting practice over the last two days. Solarte was hitting .268 through the season's first 70 games with 10 doubles, 10 homers and 40 RBIs.No one has shouted yet.
