MLB Note - San Diego Padres Lloyd, Kyle
Jul 28, 2017 - 8:09 AM RHP Kyle Lloyd was optioned back to Triple-A El Paso to make room for LHP Kyle McGrath on the 25-man roster. Lloyd, 26, gave up four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in four-plus innings Tuesday against the Mets. While Lloyd has a plus cutter, his fastball topped out at 88 mph.No one has shouted yet.
