MLB Note - Los Angeles Angels Heaney, Andrew
Aug 14, 2017 - 6:24 AM LHP Andrew Heaney was impressive in a rehab start for Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday night in Sacramento. Heaney, who has been out since undergoing Tommy John surgery in July 2016, allowed one run on six hits in seven innings, with two walks and two strikeouts. He didn't factor into the decision, as the Bees scored all of their runs in the top of the ninth in a 3-1 victory. The Angels have two off days this week, but Heaney is a candidate when they next need a fifth starter, next weekend in Baltimore. "There are definitely some decisions we're going to make in the next couple days," Angels manager Mike Scioscia told reporters before Sunday's series finale in Seattle. No one has shouted yet.
