MLB Note - Houston Astros Guduan, Reymin

Aug 15, 2017 - 9:11 AM LHP Reymin Guduan was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on Monday after the team acquired RHP Tyler Clippard from the White Sox. Guduan was 0-0 with a 5.54 ERA in 15 games, and had made eight consecutive scoreless appearances before allowing one run in 1/3 inning Friday against the Texas Rangers.

CF George Springer was back in the lineup Monday night at Arizona after getting a day off Sunday against the Texas Rangers, going 1-for-4 to drop his average to .304. Before Sunday, Springer had played four consecutive games after returning to the lineup following a quadriceps injury. Springer hit a two-run homer Friday against the Rangers, his first since July 7.
