MLB Note - Toronto Blue Jays Mayza, Tim

Aug 15, 2017 - 9:11 AM LHP Tim Mayza had his contract selected from Triple-A Buffalo Monday before the game against the Tampa Bay Rays. RHP Leonel Campos was optioned to Buffalo to make room for him in the 25-man roster and RHP Taylor Cole was unconditionally released to create space on the 40-man rosters. Mayza, 25, was 2-2 with a 3.25 ERA in 40 games with four saves in seven opportunities in the minor leagues between Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Buffalo. In 11 games at Buffalo, he was 1-1 with a 0.93 ERA.
