MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Kemp, Matt

Aug 15, 2017 - 9:11 AM OF Matt Kemp (right hamstring strain) could be activated Friday. Manager Brian Snitker said Kemp did sprints and running exercises on the field before the game. Kemp will rest tomorrow and run again Wednesday before resting Thursday. Snitker said, "It'll be a day off Thursday, and hopefully everything will point toward Friday." Kemp is hitting .290 with 14 homers, 48 RBI and an .813 OPS in 88 games. He has been on the disabled list since July 29. He missed nine games in April while on the disabled list after straining that same hamstring.
