MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Arenado, Nolan
Aug 15, 2017 - 9:11 AM 3B Nolan Arenado was not in the lineup due to a left wrist contusion but pinch hit in the seventh an fouled out with one out and runners on first and second. Before the game, Arenado tested his wrist by taking dry swings and hitting off a tee. He was hit on the wrist with an 88 mph fastball thrown by Miami's Vance Worley on Sunday and left the game in the fifth. "I thought it was broken," Arenado said. "It got real tight right after it happened. The last time I broke a finger and I've broken bones before, it gets super tight. It usually comes out broken. Thank God this one didn't. It's swollen. It hurts. But it's not as swollen as I thought it was going to be. I can move it. I can swing. So I think at the end of the day, it's just pain tolerance. They said it's not going to get any worse. So if that's the case, it is what it is."No one has shouted yet.
