MLB Note - Chicago White Sox Covey, Dylan

Aug 16, 2017 - 2:01 AM RHP Dylan Covey was activated from the disabled list on Tuesday prior to the opener of a two-game interleague series versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Covey will assume the available roster spot of Tyler Clippard, who was traded to the Houston Astros on Sunday for a player to be named later or cash considerations. The 26-year-old Covey had been sidelined with a strained left oblique sustained in his last start on May 23. He owns an 0-4 mark with an 8.12 ERA in eight starts during his first season with the White Sox.
