MLB Note - Seattle Mariners Bergman, Christian
Aug 16, 2017 - 11:10 AM RHP Christian Bergman was designated for assignment for the second time this season. Bergman was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma a day earlier after pitching four scoreless innings for the Mariners on Sunday against the Angels. Bergman was 4-4 with a 4.91 ERA in 11 games for the Mariners this season, including eight starts. "The back end of our 40-man roster has been very fluid," Seattle manager Scott Servais said. "We do not want to lose him, but if someone picks him up, good for him."No one has shouted yet.
