MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Kinsler, Ian
Aug 16, 2017 - 11:09 AM 2B Ian Kinsler, clearly still was still hot under the collar about his ejection from the Monday game for arguing balls and strikes with plate umpire Angel Hernandez, can expect to hear from the Major League Baseball office after comments he made before the Tuesday game. Asked if he was surprised how quickly Hernandez tossed him, Kinsler said: "No, I'm surprised at how bad of an umpire he is." He continued: "It has to do with changing the game. He's changing the game. He needs to find another job. He really does." And then he went on: "I'm just saying it's pretty obvious that he needs to stop ruining baseball games. If I get fined for saying the truth, then so be it." Kinsler went 2-for-5 in the Tigers' 10-4 loss to Texas on Tuesday. No one has shouted yet.
