MLB Note - San Francisco Giants Suarez, Albert
Aug 17, 2017 - 2:08 AM LHP Albert Suarez, a former Miami Hurricanes star, would've loved to be with the Giants this weekend as his organization played at Marlins Park. But Suarez, who turns 25 in September, could be close to joining the big team. The prospect, who was the Giants' second-round pick in 2015, has reached Triple A for the first time in his career. He is 5-5 with a 3.36 at Triple A this year, pretty good numbers in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He has allowed just 69 hits, including three homers, in 69 1/3 innings. No one has shouted yet.
