MLB Note - Boston Red Sox Price, David
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:56 AM LHP David Price, on the disabled list with a recurrence of a left elbow issue, was supposed to throw again off flat ground Wednesday but delayed it by a day. "Will not throw today," manager John Farrell said. "Will resume tomorrow. As we've talked about each day when he comes in, we kind of adjust the plan as needed and that's the adjustment today." Asked if Price was feeling discomfort, the manager said, "No. Yesterday when he threw, I don't know that he felt as free as he did the three consecutive days in New York. Was just going to go through treatment and then resume again tomorrow."No one has shouted yet.
