MLB Note - Seattle Mariners Rzepczynski, Marc
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:55 AM LHP Marc Rzepczynski earned his second career save, getting out of a bases loaded jam with two outs in the ninth inning of a 7-6 victory against Baltimore on Wednesday. Rzepczynski struck out the only batter he faced, Chris Davis, on three pitches, the last a called strike. "A couple of those pitches were right down the middle and I got away with it," Rzepczynski said. "I've come in with the bases loaded and two outs plenty of times, but never in the ninth inning. My only other career save was a four-out save. I just tried to go out there and attack."No one has shouted yet.
