MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Hardy, J.J.
Aug 17, 2017 - 8:55 AM SS J.J. Hardy, out since June 19 with a broken right wrist, hit in the indoor batting cage Wednesday and played long toss. He is scheduled to take batting practice on the field Friday. "I'm hoping that we're going to get into the hitting part of it soon. I know he's been taking a lot of dry swings," Orioles manager Buck Showalter told reporters. "He's ready to get going. He's antsy about getting going. We sure would like to get him back." Whether he has position when he returns is another question with Tim Beckham playing so well.No one has shouted yet.
