Aug 18, 2017 - 8:02 AM INF Jose Reyes was placed on the 10-day list with a strained left oblique strain prior to Thursday's game between the New York Mets and New York Yankees. Reyes was scratched from Wednesday's game about two hours before first pitch after appearing to get hurt during batting practice. Reyes was in the original starting lineup and batting leadoff before being scratched. This season, Reyes is hitting .223 with nine homers and 39 RBIs. A shortstop for most of his career, Reyes has made 24 starts at third, 55 starts at shortstop and five at second base.
