MLB Note - New York Mets Reyes, Jose

Aug 18, 2017 - 8:03 AM INF Jose Reyes (left oblique strain) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Thursday, retroactive to Wednesday. Reyes was injured while swinging the bat during Tuesday's game against the Yankees. He said prior to Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Yankees that he doesn't believe the injury is serious and hopes to return to the Mets when he is first eligible. Reyes is batting .223 with nine homers, 39 RBIs and a team-high 14 stolen bases in 113 games this season.
