MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Santander, Anthony
Aug 19, 2017 - 8:32 AM RF Anthony Santander, a Rule 5 pick last winter who had been on the disabled list all season with a strained right forearm, joined the active roster for the first time and made his major league debut due to an illnesses that hit 1B Chris Davis. Santander made a diving catch earlier and got his first major-league hit with a ninth-inning single that started the game-winning rally. "I felt very good," he said through an interpreter. "Just looking for the opportunity to get on base and give the opportunity to the team to get the win."No one has shouted yet.
