MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Castellanos, Nick
Aug 20, 2017 - 8:19 AM 3B Nicholas Castellanos has taken some heat for defensive regression this season, one of the reasons the Tigers are thinking of trying him in right field, but he wasn't entirely to blame for the error on a popup by LF Curtis Granderson that led to Los Angeles scoring the winning run Saturday in a 3-0 victory over Detroit. SS Jose Iglesias had his back to the sun while Castellanos was looking right into it when he lunged for the ball and missed it while Granderson was steaming into second. Iglesias has made far tougher plays than that going into left and center to catch pop flys.No one has shouted yet.
