MLB Note - Tampa Bay Rays Farquhar, Danny

Aug 20, 2017 - 8:20 AM RHP Danny Farquhar had his contract purchased from Triple-A Charlotte to take the roster spot of RHP Reynaldo Lopez. The White Sox signed him to a minor league deal July 24 after he was designated for assignment by Tampa Bay. He was 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in Triple-A. Farquhar pitched in 37 games for the Rays this year, going 2-2 with a 4.11 ERA.
