MLB Note - Los Angeles Dodgers Darvish, Yu
Aug 20, 2017 - 8:19 AM RHP Yu Darvish was headed for the disabled list, manager Dave Roberts said Saturday, as a precautionary measure to make sure his back tightness is gone prior to his next start. "Everything's fine with Yu," Roberts said. "I see him potentially, us making a move for Yu and potentially missing his next start. He'll just miss his start and be back on his regular turn (Sunday). If there's any thought of his back being sore or stiff, for us to run him out there doesn't make a whole of sense where we're at. We expect to get (Edward) Paredes here, the left-hander. I think that's what we're going to end up doing. We'll get somebody to take Darvish's place in Pittsburgh." He indicated that somebody likely would be RHP Brock Stewart on Tuesday. No one has shouted yet.
