MLB Note - Texas Rangers Gallo, Joey

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:05 AM 3B Joey Gallo and RHP Matt Bush are in concussion protocol and will not travel with the Rangers for the series against the Angels.

Gallo and Bush collided while chasing a popup in the eighth inning Sunday in Texas' 3-2 home loss to the Chicago White Sox. The former sustained a bloody nose and swollen upper lip while the latter bruised his right knee.

Gallo has belted 35 homers to trail only New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge (37) in the American League. The 23-year-old Gallo is batting .205 with 65 RBIs in 113 games this season.
