MLB Note - Miami Marlins Urena, Jose

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP Jose Urena will look to win his third straight decision Tuesday night, when he takes the mound for the Marlins in the second game of a doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. The doubleheader opens a four-game series between the teams. Urena earned the win in his most recent start on Wednesday, when he allowed an unearned run on seven hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings as the Marlins beat the Giants, 8-1. It was the fourth time in his last six starts that Urena has allowed one run, a stretch in which he's gone 4-1 with a 2.80 ERA. Urena is 0-2 with a 7.02 ERA in seven career appearances (three starts) against the Phillies.
