MLB Note - New York Mets Gsellman, Robert

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP Robert Gsellman will make his second start since being activated from the disabled list on Monday night, when he takes the mound for the Mets in the opener of a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Citi Field. Gsellman didn't factor into the decision on Wednesday, when he allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out two over 5 1/3 innings as the Mets fell to the New York Yankees, 5-3. The appearance was the first in the majors for Gsellman since June 27, when he suffered a strained left hamstring while trying to leg out an infield hit. Gsellman made his lone career appearance against the Diamondbacks as a reliever on May 17, when he allowed one run in one inning.
