MLB Note - Miami Marlins Straily, Dan

Aug 21, 2017 - 7:06 AM RHP Dan Straily will look to snap a seven-start winless streak Tuesday afternoon, when he takes the mound for the Marlins in the first game of a doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. The doubleheader opens a four-game series between the teams. Straily didn't factor into the decision in his most recent start Aug. 15, when he gave up three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings as the Marlins fell to the San Francisco Giants, 9-4. He is 0-4 with a 5.20 ERA since earning his most recent win on July 7. Straily is 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA in three career starts against the Phillies.
