Indians' Miller exits game due to knee ailment
Aug 22, 2017 - 2:18 AM CLEVELAND -- Indians reliever Andrew Miller left Cleveland's Monday night game against the Boston Red Sox in the seventh inning with a recurrence of right patellar tendinitis.Miller came on to start the inning and walked Mookie Betts, the first batter he faced. The 6-foot-7 left-hander threw one pitch to the next hitter, Andrew Benintendi, and walked off the mound.
Miller was making his second appearance since being activated from the disabled list on Aug. 18. He had been out since Aug. 2 due to right patellar tendinitis.
