MLB Note - Chicago White Sox Delmonico, Nick
Aug 22, 2017 - 6:55 AM 1B Nicky Delmonico homered in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins to break up Dillon Gee's perfect game in the fifth inning. Delmonico became the quickest player in major league history to hit six home runs as he needed only 19 games to accomplish the feat. Delmonico has reached base in 18 of his 19 games this season, including five straight. Delmonico is hitting .343 with two doubles, six home runs, 11 walks and 12 RBIs in that stretch.No one has shouted yet.
